Hush Puppies Recipe:

1 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup chopped onion
Vegetable oil for frying

In a bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
Stir in the buttermilk until the mixture forms a thick batter.
Add the chopped onion and mix well.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot or skillet over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, turning occasionally.
Remove the hush puppies from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot and enjoy the crispy, flavorful hush puppies.
Savory Cabbage Recipe:

1 head of cabbage, thinly sliced
4 slices of bacon, chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons butter

In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon drippings in the skillet.
Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and toss to coat with the bacon drippings, onions, and garlic.
Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if desired) over the cabbage.
Pour the chicken broth into the skillet and cover.
Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
Remove the lid and stir in the butter until melted and well combined.
Transfer the cabbage to a serving dish and sprinkle the cooked bacon on top.

Refreshing Tea Recipe:

4 cups water
4 tea bags (black tea or your preferred variety)
1/4 cup sugar (adjust according to taste)
Lemon slices (optional)
Fresh mint leaves (optional)

In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Remove from heat and add the tea bags to the water.
Let the tea steep for about 3-5 minutes, or until desired strength is achieved.
Remove the tea bags and discard.
Stir in the sugar until dissolved.
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
To serve, pour the chilled tea into glasses filled with ice.
