1 medium-sized cabbage, thinly sliced
1 large onion, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
